Our wineries for Spit festival:

This year marks the 10th anniversary of SPIT, and we’re incredibly proud to have been part of it from the very beginning. When we first came together, four small importers with distinct focuses, we didn’t know what SPIT would become. But we shared a love of real wine and a belief in its power to bring people together. Over the years, SPIT has grown into a standout tasting event, drawing people from near and far across Ireland, and we’re thrilled to welcome you once again.

At Nomad Wine Importers, we remain committed to the same core idea we started with, championing small, independent French producers who work with integrity and care. Every bottle we bring to Ireland tells a story, and today, we’re delighted to introduce four of our producers to share theirs.

  • Domaine Christophe & Fils (Chablis, Burgundy), Starting with just a half hectare of Petit Chablis inherited from his family, Sébastien has quietly built a reputation for crafting precise, expressive wines from some of Chablis’ most esteemed vineyards. His approach is resolutely classic – stainless steel vinification, minimal oak – but what sets him apart is his conviction: a tireless work ethic and deep respect for terroir.

  • Domaine Charles Audoin (Marsannay, Burgundy), Tucked in the rolling hills of Marsannay, the 14-hectare Audoin family estate is led by Cyril Audoin, whose dedication to tradition and terroir shapes every bottle. Harvests are done by hand, and the vines, many of them decades old, yield just enough to create wines that are anything but ordinary.

  • Mas des Agrunelles (Terrasses du Larzac, Languedoc), Stéphanie and Frédéric farm biodynamically in one of Languedoc’s coolest microclimates, crafting site-specific wines shaped by wind, altitude, and soil. Since meeting in oenology school in 1999, they’ve built their Domaine rooted in experimentation, freshness, and love for their land.

  • Chateau Croix de Labrie (St Emilion, Bordeaux), Axelle Courdurié is the passionate winemaker behind Chateau Croix de Labrie, a small Saint-Emilion Grand Cru estate farmed organically and biodynamically. With precision and a refined, feminine touch, she crafts elegant, small-production wines that express the depth and character of each unique terroir.
